How do we help students create new ways of thinking?

Educational Policy has shifted to the new perspective that directs students towards using new technologies in real life tasks. This means students will have opportunities to learn how to think in a variety of ways by using a range of technologies in the classroom. Click here for more information about the social-cultural approach to education.

We help students to create new ways of thinking by prompting them with carefully designed questions from the Blooms Taxonomy of Thinking Framework.

Students are given opporunities to present ideas in a range of ways such as:

  • working with software programs on computers such as Word and PowerPoint

  • interacting with smartboard technology

  • learning to take photos and type on iPads

  • safely research on the internet on iPad or computer

This experience enables them to expand their knowledge base and develop creative thinking skills in a postive environment.

We are committed to providing high quality education for your children.

Swirk website provides excellent resources to enhance their learning.
