We use iPads as a tool to actively engage and motivate students in the learning process.  Research suggests  when we include students in the learning process with use of familiar tools it improves self efficacy and self worth. Students are more likely to approach tasks if they are motivated, believe it's fun, and challenging. 

 

We use ipads to support students to: 

• produce knowledge and research skills

• achieve success quickly

• set individual goals

• develop intrinsic motivation

• improve writing tasks

• improve reading & comprehension 

• make connections between home and school
